Last night Avery slept 8 hours! It was the longest she has slept so far:) Kyndall slept pretty late too...so Jim and I had a great night of sleep...I just had to post this exciting news!! A great exciting new step for Avery to take in life!!! Sorry, no new pics for this post...i'll take more soon.
This weekk Avery turned 11 weeks old. She had a busy week. She saw Grandma and Grampa, Popo and Grammie came to visit, and she is getting more and more rolls of cute baby fat! I took this weeks pic in a onsie because I wanted everyone to get to see some of her cute rolls of fat. Kyndall had a great week with all our family too! I can hardly keep her still enough to get good pics though...
Kyndall wanted to hold Avery today. So I put her on Kyndall's lap and both of the girls were just smiling and happy. I couldn't get a pic of both smiling...but Kyndall held her for about 20 minutes. Everytime I tried to pick Avery back up Kyndall would yell, "MY!" and hold Avery's little hands. I am so impressed everyday with how sweet of a big sister Kyndall is!
Please ignore the complete disaster of a living room and focus on Avery having tummy time on her playmat. Kyndall was very fascinated by that...so she decided that Elmo might need a little tummy time too. After I picked Avery up and was cuddling with her a little, I looked up and noticed that Kyndall gave Elmo tummy time...funniest picture!
Here is Elmo enjoying a little tummy time...isn't Kyndall a good Mommy!
April 12th was my big 30th birthday...I celebrated with some of our closest friends and their kids. Here are some pictures from the get-together:

Kyndall is getting ready to move into a "big girl bed" soon. So I had a really hard time trying to find a little comforter for her. Luckily I have a great friend, Kate, who does decorating for a living. She helped me find some really nice material and she made the comforter, and I made the pillows and the Valance (after she taught me how). She is a wonderful seamstress and can really make some nice accessories for people. I can't wait until Kyndall is ready for her new bed!
Avery is 9 weeks old and full of sweetness and personality...what a blessing!! She had her 2 month check up yesterday. She was 13lbs 11oz and 24 3/4 inches long. The Dr. said that shewas very social (cooing and smiling). She got 4 shots...ugh...I teared up of course. I thought I would be better with Avery getting shots than I was with Kyndall (I had to leave the room once with her) but no such luck...as soon as the stuck her..my tears started flowing too! She quit crying as soon as they were through. What a tough little cookie! Life is very interesting having her and Kyndall together. Kyndall has become little miss personality..and she is talking up a storm (I can understand most of it!) She just loves Avery still...and she will bring over toys to share with her...so cute.
Jim couldn't be more proud of his little golfer! I got her a little set of clubs at Walgreens on a whim the other night and we got them out to play with tonight...it was so much fun for Kyndall. She gave each of us a club and she took one and went after those balls! Annika step aside...Kyndall is going to be the next LPGA superstar!
Grampa and Grandma Kelly came over to go to dinner and hang out with us. Here are some pictures of them with the girls. Kyndall just LOVES when Grandma and Grampa come over. In her words before they came: "Mampa and mamaa yea!!"
75 percent of you guessed the picture was Kyndall and it was! But it does show how alike the girls really look. Some of you told me that you knew because of what Jim was wearing and some knew because of Kyndall having a little more hair on top! You all really know my girls well!! Good job on the poll....Here are some random pictures of the girls I have taken recently:
This is a pic of Avery smiling at her Daddy. He can get the best smiles and pictures of the girls!
Kyndall spilled something in the kitchen, and was helping me sweep it up...what a sweet girl!
