Who is it?

Answer the poll and guess who this baby is!!!

Avery is 7 weeks old!

Wow...how time flies...Avery has added another wonderful week to our lives. I can't believe my little baby is 7 weeks old! It really doesn't seem possible. She actually went to the babysitter with her big sister today while I went to my biblestudy that I have missed for 6 weeks. It was so much fun for me, and Karen said both girls were really good.

Sidewalk Chalk

Now we are really getting down to business...

My little genius...already writing her A's!!

The Easter bunny gave Kyndall some sidewalk chalk in her Easter basket this year. So these are some pictures of Kyndall's first sidewalk chalk experience...and yes, that is an A that she made all by herself....(not on purpose) but still cute:)

Easter Fun

What fun we had at Easter celebrations this year! My parents (Gramps and Gram Garth) and Grammie and Popo came for the weekend. We celebrated Easter day with them. We enjoyed a yummy Easter meal and hunted eggs ALL DAY! We also took them to our neighborhood Easter egg hunt...pictures are on the previous post. Then on Sat night before Easter we went to Grandma and Grampa Kelly's house. We had a great dinner and Kyndall hunted eggs with her cousins. We had a really fun Easter...and what a blessing to celebrate it with a 6 week old...little Avery Ellen was a joy to have. Praise our precious savior Jesus Christ for saving us from our sins and being the reason we take time to celebrate this wonderful, but sad holiday! We are truely blessed to have him in our hearts!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

We took Kyndall to our neighborhood Easter Egg hunt today. She had so much fun! The big kids kind of took over most of the hunt, but Kyndall was able to find 1 egg..which was fine with her. Luckily Jim and Gram brought some eggs from home and Kyndall "hunted" them too!! We enjoyed going there with Gram, Gramps, Grammie and Popo. What a fun time!!

Daddy's Girls

I got a really good picture of Jim and the girls....what a great Daddy!

"Nynall Nance"

Translation: Kyndall Dance. This is what she tells me she is going to do when she hears music. She was showing Avery her dance skills the other night, and I caught part of it on video. Last night, when dancing with the stars came on, Kyndall would say, "Nynall nance" and she would dance with the couples...so cute!

Close up Hair pics

Here are some pics I took this morning of Kyndall's hair. I thought you could see it better. I had to distract her by putting "do-da" (Dora the Explorer) on for her to watch...otherwise I can't get her still enough! She will say Cheese and run off!!

New "Do"

Before the new haircut:
Getting her hair cut!

Kyndall enjoying her new haircut, and the sucker she got for being so good!

Today I took Kyndall to get her first official haircut. We went to Snip-its, which is a salon for kids. It was great. Dee cut her hair and she was prepared for Kyndall's every reaction. Kyndall was eager to hop in the bright colored chair, but then got a little worried when we put on her smock. Luckily Dee had crackers, bubbles and a movie going. So she didn't fuss the entire time. I LOVE her new haircut...it is perfect for the spring. Hope you enjoy our pics!!

Out of the house...and to the Playground!

It was a beautiful day out today and Kyndall has gotten over her cold, so we decided to venture out into the real world! We have a great playground just down the street, so I loaded the girls up in our handy double stroller (thanks Grammie:) and we walked the 3 blocks to the park. When we got there I met 3 other stay-at-home Moms in my neighborhood with their kids all 23 months, 24 months and 2 years...what luck! Kyndall had so much fun playing with Bella, Paul and Nora. She fell down a few times, got hit by Nora(and appologized to) and played her little heart out. Avery slept. And I enjoyed an hour of adult conversation while chasing after my little toddler!!! Kyndall is napping now, Avery is playing on her mat, and I am so happy we got to enjoy the wonderful day....life is getting back to normal again!!! Oh and after all the running, climbing, and falling Kyndall did, she still wanted to walk home. So I took a picture of her collecting treasures as she walked (on the sidewalk only) all the way home...she should be exhausted!
Avery is ready to head to the park to play:)
Kyndall is ready to go to the park, too!
Sliding down the small slide...weeee...
Waiting in line for the curly slide with Bella and Paul...her new friends!
Tired of the playground, she was playing in the dirt with Paul...

Snow Day!

After:
Right now, we are getting the most beautiful snowfall ever! I tried to capture it on film...but it doesn't do it justice. It is falling in huge flakes and dusting everything in beautiful white! I wish Kyndall was completely over her cold so she could go play in it!! Before:

1 Month Old

Avery went to the Dr. on March 5th and she is doing great! She weighs 10lbs 14oz and she is 22 1/2 in long! She is officially moving into the bigger diaper and her newborn clothes are starting to fit a little tight. I can't believe how fast time flies. She is also very aware of everything around her. Her sister still loves her lots...and life is great! Here is her 1 month pic...

The girls are growing up!

This is Kyndall watching Diego "Day-do" with her Grampa today...she has so much fun with Grampa and Grandma Kelly! They also played in the snow ...how fun!!
This is Avery holding her head up all by herself today with Grandma Kelly. Grandma and Grampa Kelly came over to babysit the girls while I went to my friend Jen's baby shower, and voted.

I thought I would post a video of Avery since some of you haven't been able to see her in person yet. She is 3 weeks old in this video and is already able to hit the little animals on her playmat. She is already growing up too fast!!

Comments Section

I just wanted to let everyone know that I adjusted the comments section so that anyone could make a comment. Before you had to have a google account to do it. You should just be able to click on the word comment at the bottom of each post and say whatever your heart desires! Sorry about the confusion...I had a few people tell me they couldn't get it to work...so hopefully it will be easier now.

Just me and my girls....

As many of you know, my mom was here helping me take care of the girls this past month. She came a little before Avery was born, and stayed for the 1st 4 weeks of her life. It was so wonderful having her here. I couldn't lift Kyndall because of my c-section and wasn't supposed to go up and down the stairs. So Mom came and played with Kyndall, held Avery, made meals, cleaned the house and was there to talk to and enjoy. I couldn't have made it without her these past weeks. She is amazing, and I hope I can be as great a mom as she has been to me. I love you so much Mom and thank you for taking care of us! Now it is going to be just me and my girls at home during the day...wish us luck!! Here is a pic of Kyndall wearing Gram's glasses (she thought that was so fun) and the other pic is of how much Kyndall loves her Gram!!
